A Monthly Magazine for Six Villages in North Suffolk
SIX SENSE depends on you. We welcome reports, reviews, profiles, news, opinions and pictures from the local community
As a community we all have a role to play in further prevention. The best way you can protect yourself and others is to continue to practice good hygiene: The most simple and effective way to protect yourself and others from coronavirus is making sure you wash your hands frequently with soap and water, or a hand sanitiser if you are out and about. It’s particularly important to wash your hands once you get home or arrive at work or before you prepare or eat food. You should stay at home for 7 days if you have either: a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back Do not go to a GP surgery or hospital. You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying at home. Testing for coronavirus is not needed if you’re staying at home. If your symptoms persist past 7 days you should contact NHS 111 online at 111.nhs.uk. If you have no internet access, you should call NHS 111. If you live with other people, they should stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person got symptoms. |
